Peddler's Village Events at Christmastime
1. The Gingerbread Competition & Display
November 14-January 17 (ongoing)
On display for the Christmas season are over 100 Gingerbread Houses and creative scenes that will wow and impress you, and leave you eager to get started on your own display. These are some really special displays to see. The craftsmanship and detail clearly take time and effort to accomplish.
There are even prizes awarded for things like “Incredibly Unusual 3-Dimensional Gingerbread Creation”, “Nostalgic Lights and Starry Nights”, and “Traditional Gingerbread House.” They also have age categories for kids, youth, and teens – plus a “Professional Gingerbread”.
These are just a few from the 2025 collection that are on display now in Peddler’s Village. Warning, though : the line gets LONG on the weekends. Try to go during the week if at all possible. Visitors really enjoy seeing the gingerbread house displays and take their time exploring all the little details of the creations. It’s a big attraction and well worth the wait.
2. Breakfast with Santa at Giggleberry Fair
Sunday November 23 & 30, December 7 & 14
This Peddler’s Village Event is a favorite of many families. Enjoy breakfast with Santa from 10-11:30 am, complete with a yummy buffet that kids will actually eat, play time , and even storytelling with Mrs. Claus. It’s a magical morning for kids and adults! Get into the spirit of Christmas here – with tickets for kids at $33, adults $25. This event does sell out, though, so get tickets early in the season!!
*Giggleberry Fair is an indoor play place for kids. It’s full of amazing fun kid stuff like a carousel, games, an obstacle course, and more. Kids absolutely love this place and tire themselves out with the excitement of it all! (You can still get photos with Santa at Giggleberry Fair on Saturdays from 12-7 throughout the season, too!)
3. The Holly Jolly Weekend & Parade
December 6 & 7
If you have one weekend to attend a Peddler’s Village event, attend the Holly Jolly Weekend. It’s the kind of Christmas chaos that lights up the night and warms your soul. Yes, it’s busy, yes, it’s chaotic, but yes – everyone is there to have a great time!
All weekend, there are food and drink specials, so many lights and decorations, live music and entertainment, and even a Santa Parade (that local non-profits can sign up for!). While you’re there, check out the Gingerbread House displays, too!
4. The Holiday Hustle
Thursday December 4
I have yet to try this event, but it’s on my list! This year is the 5th Annual Holiday Hustle Under the Lights – as part of the Enchanted Evenings Series at Peddler’s Village. They host a nighttime 2-mile run/jog/walk and a 1-mile run/jog/walk – all decked out in your Christmas gear!
They limit this Peddler’s Village Event to 1000 participants, so be sure to register early here. I’m going to try and make it this year – it sounds like some good, clean holiday fun to work off some of those Christmas cookies!
Get ready with some holiday gear like Striped Elf Socks, a Funny Christmas Shirt, Christmas Light Pants, and of course, a Cute Christmas Beanie or Funny Holiday Baseball Cap. Bring the Christmas energy!
5. Fire & Frost Fun
January 9, 10, 16, & 17
Can’t make it to any Peddler’s Village Events before the holidays? No problem! January has its own fun with Fire & Frost Weekends. From 4-8 pm on 2 weekends in January, you will find dozens of finely crafted, detail-oriented ice sculptures. You just have to see them in person to enjoy their beauty.
There’s also a DJ, a scavenger hunt, food trucks, fire pits, and fire performers! It’s a really cool experience – plus the Christmas lights are still up and the January sales are in full effect! It’s a little Renaissance Faire – meets Winter Wonderland vibe, and definitely something special and different to check out during the dull days of January.
Honorable Mention: Brunch with Santa
December 20 & 21
If you miss breakfast with Santa earlier in the month, no worries! You can go to brunch with Santa at Cock ‘n Bull Restaurant. They offer a large brunch menu with made-to-order omelets, waffles, pancakes, and more – plus entrees like shaved pork loin and chicken parmesan.
It’s a bit more expensive at $57.50 per adult and $28.75 per child, but they have a Santa Singalong, a craft, and story time. And be sure to take lots of pictures – the photo ops will be plentiful! Get tickets here.

Peddler's Village Map
Nestled on 42 acres in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, you’ll find Peddler’s Village. It’s an expansive village, with over 60 stores, 14 restaurants and eateries, an indoor kids play place, 4 Artisans and Galleries, a Brewing Taproom, Wine Tasting, and of course the Visitors Center.
Parking can be difficult during the height of the season, but people are usually coming and going all day, so you’re sure to find a spot if you’re patient. You will have to cross roads to get around Peddler’s Village, too – there are plenty of crosswalks and holiday cheer, but just be aware!
Peddler's Village Stores
Full of 60+ shops and boutiques, there is truly something for everyone on your Christmas shopping list. From fashion and collectibles to books and home decor, everyone you’re visiting with will have something to look at and stores to suit their interests. There are jewelry stores, pet supply stores, and even Knobs and Knockers.
There is also an array of stores for every budget – buy $10 cozy pants from a table outside, and a new pair of UGGS in Sunflowers. Purchase a one-of-a-kind $200 mirror or statue at Creative Corner, a $500 vest at Fox & Holly, or a $15 jar of avocado honey from Sticky Situations, a $10 ornament from The Wooden Duck. There is just such a huge range of things in Peddler’s Village to buy, do, and see!
The best thing to do in Peddler’s Village is just to wander. Give yourself the day to explore. Walk into a shop and see what they have. Then walk into another. You never know what you’ll find as you roam freely around the village. Maybe you’ll end up with a spiked hot cocoa and a chunk of fudge after you buy your dog a new Christmas sweater. Or you’ll end up with a Pandora bracelet for yourself after a wine tasting.
Your day can go in so many ways at Peddler’s Village. Just enjoy your time there. Make sure you eat, you shop, you marvel at how cute the shops are, and you stay until the whole village lights up!
Peddler's Village Restaurants
There is also a wide range of restaurants and eateries at Peddler’s Village. Whether you want a sit-down meal or a quick snack, there are plenty of places to choose from. The restaurants do get busy during the holidays, but there’s usually somewhere to get a bite to eat. My personal favorite is the Buttonwood Grill. The staff is always super friendly, the place is always festive, and their specialty pizzas are the best!
During special events like the Peach Festival and Strawberry Festival, most restaurants also have special desserts or cocktails with the festival fruit incorporated. Just another way to make Peddler’s Village even cuter.

Peddler's Village Hotels
Since Peddler’s Village is quite a bit out of the way for many, and really could take a few days to fully explore, it’s always good to know a few good hotels around the area (especially with the option of wine tasting and the brewery!). For a real treat, book the Golden Plough Inn. It’s quaint and close, and will keep you in the cute holiday village feel. Plus, parking is included, and it’s a 2-minute walk to Peddler’s Village.
Just a few miles away from Peddler’s Village (about a 10-minute drive) is the Ghost Light Inn. It’s got a more modern feel, yet rustic and beautiful. It’s situated overlooking the Delaware River for gorgeous views and a bit of tranquility. They also offer free breakfast, and it’s a 1-minute walk to the Bucks County Playhouse! (Right now playing Elf The Musical). Peddler’s Village events + a musical = a perfect Christmas weekend!
About a 15-minute drive from Peddler’s Village across the river in New Jersey is the gorgeous Chimney Hill Estate Inn, located in a beautifully updated historic house on 8 acres of property, complete with a fire pit and well-kept grounds. This is the perfect weekend retreat – even including a hot tub, sauna, and cold plunge! Breakfast & Spa Service included in your stay! Treat yourself and someone special to a truly memorable weekend.
